For nearly two decades, Andrew Marcus has been writing songs and leading people into worship with a simple desire: to create music that points people back to Jesus.
A two-time GMA Award-winning singer, songwriter and worship artist from British Columbia, Canada, Andrew has spent years serving the local church while sharing stages and ministry opportunities with artists including Phil Wickham, MercyMe, Leeland and many others. His music has reached churches and listeners across Canada, the United States and beyond. His 2016 album Constant, produced in Nashville by Scott and Ed Cash (We The Kingdom), featured collaborations with artists including Paul Baloche and Leeland Mooring and marked an important chapter in Andrew’s journey as a songwriter and worship leader.
Now, after a decade, Andrew returns with his most personal record yet. CRUSH OUR CROWNS
Released September 4, 2026, CRUSH OUR CROWNS is Andrew Marcus’ first full-length album in a decade.
The album is more than a collection of songs. It is a unique musical journal of the last ten years—a decade filled with life, loss, celebrations, seasons of uncertainty, ministry, family, and the ongoing process of learning what it means to surrender everything to the LORD.
CRUSH OUR CROWNS is Andrew’s response to the last ten years: a declaration that through every season, Jesus remains worthy of everything.
The title itself carries the heart of the record. In a world constantly calling us to build our own kingdoms, CRUSH OUR CROWNS is an invitation to lay down our pride, our control, our accomplishments and our plans—and give the crown back to the only One who is truly worthy to wear it.
The album also continues Andrew’s long-standing connection with some of Nashville’s most respected Christian songwriters. The record includes songs written with Jesse Reeves, co-writer of influential worship songs including How Great Is Our God, Lord, I Need You, Jesus Messiah and I Speak Jesus.
Andrew also reunites with Scott Cash, continuing a songwriting relationship that dates back to the making of Constant. Cash has been an important collaborator throughout Andrew’s Nashville recording journey, and his work has included producing and writing within the broader Christian music community, including with We The Kingdom.
At its core, CRUSH OUR CROWNS is about surrender.
It is the sound of a worship leader looking back over ten years of life and realizing that God was present through all of it—the victories and the valleys, the celebrations and the losses, the moments of confidence and the moments when faith felt fragile.
Andrew hopes that somewhere in this collection, listeners will find a song for their season—a song that gives them courage when they're struggling, comfort when they're grieving, joy when they're celebrating, and a reminder that they are never walking alone.
After ten years of life, loss, struggle, celebration and surrender, CRUSH OUR CROWNS is ultimately an invitation to stop striving, lay down what we've been carrying, and remember who is worthy of it all.
